Scientific outreach is an important part of my academic activity and complements both my research and teaching. I am particularly interested in making knowledge about architecture, cultural heritage, digital technologies, and the built environment accessible to audiences beyond academia. Through outreach and public engagement, I aim to demonstrate how research can contribute to addressing real-world challenges while fostering greater awareness of the cultural, social, and technological dimensions of the built environment.
My communication activities focus on topics including digital heritage, heritage conservation, BIM, GIS, digital twins, reality capture technologies, laser scanning, photogrammetry, architectural representation, artificial intelligence in architecture, digital transformation of the AECO sector, and innovation in construction. Since 2020, I have been the creator of A Escala, a science communication channel dedicated to architecture, technology, heritage, design, and innovation, where I produce educational content aimed at connecting academic research with professional practice and public interest.
Alongside this initiative, I regularly contribute to public engagement through invited lectures, science festivals, podcasts, interviews, and digital media. My outreach activities include participation in LASER Talks Valencia, Pint of Science, and Quart és Ciència, as well as appearances on science communication podcasts and media outlets discussing architecture, heritage, digital innovation, and emerging technologies. Through these activities, I seek to bridge the gap between research, professional practice, and society, promoting scientific literacy, interdisciplinary dialogue, and curiosity about the future of architecture and cultural heritage.
